Open Book Reflection – to be completed individually before the end of your first Cultural Diversity class this week

What are the Challenges and Benefits of Cultural Diversity?

(Course Goal 1 – Sub-outcome 4: Describe the Challenges and Benefits of Diversity)

You may use Understanding Cultural Diversity in today’s Complex World (Chapter 5). I have put the review of this chapter on a PowerPoint on my blog - Title ­­- Chapter 5 PowerPoint.

Based on the outcome of the class discussion, write a Reflective Essay of 250-300 words. In your essay, you should:

·        Introduce the topic of Cultural Diversity (briefly)

·        Describe the Challenges (negative aspects, or disadvantages) of Cultural Diversity, giving examples from your own experience.

·        Describe the Benefits (positive aspects, or advantages) of Cultural Diversity, giving examples from your own experience

·        Give your opinions and recommendations in your conclusion

You must save a copy of your Reflection 2 on your Reflective Log document.
