Cultural Diversity and Travel
A local
Sheikh is concerned that Emirati young people are becoming educated but have no
real experience of the wider world.
He is
concerned that they might be portrayed as ethnocentric as the Americans in this
map.
He has
proposed that students should be given the opportunity to widen their horizons
by spending a year abroad. Students must spend at least one month volunteering
and one month travelling on a low budget in a country of (Dhs100 a day) in SE
Asia.
The Sheikh
is going to pay for their flights to SE Asia. However, students must pay for
their daily expenses while they are there. They must also organize a
fundraising event so that they can give a large donation to the place where
they volunteer.
You may choose from the
following:-
·
Burma
·
Thailand
·
Malaysia
·
Kashmir
·
Vietnam
·
Nepal
·

this wonderful opportunity must write a
